Excellent local spot with outstanding food and drinks. The atmosphere was cool without being pretentious, pleasant without being stuffy, and engaging without being overwhelming. The cavatelli entree was amazing as were the steak tips. Service was very friendly and prompt. Very highly recommended for a night out in Dover.

The owner, Nikki, greeted me at the door and guided me to my table. Nikki is incredibly kind and welcoming. Trisha was our server, and she was very sweet and accommodating. We enjoyed a couple of mocktails: a blood orange mule and a plum and coconut milk mocktail. (My favorite was the plum and coconut.) Both were bright and fantastic. Hats off to the bartender for crafting such creative and delicious beverages. My fiance and I started with the Caesar salad featuring pear, and let me tell you, I had no idea how beautifully those flavors would complement each other. The croutons on the salad had a delightful hint of lemon that enhanced everything perfectly. Next, we tried one of the steamed buns (pictured below). The tamari peanuts added a wonderful texture and were an inspired addition to the appetizer. For dinner, I had the cod with risotto and greens. The risotto had just the right texture and consistency. Occasionally, I've encountered risotto that can be too thick and heavy, but this was delightful. The rich, savory flavor of the risotto paired perfectly with the delicately flaky cod, which had an ideal crisp sear. The greens were a perfect complement, tossed in a vinaigrette that beautifully cut through the richness. My fiance opted for the swordfish, which featured a perfect blend of spices from the saffron aioli and harissa. I've had swordfish before, and it can be tricky to cook without it becoming dry, but this swordfish was fantastic and cooked to perfection. It's no surprise that Nikki's restaurant is vying for a James Beard Award because you can truly see and taste the love and care that goes into everything at Stalk.

Gabriel was an incredible server who was extremely attentive. He was also so knowledgeable of the menu and when asked for suggestions could provide great detail. The food was so delicious and had great depth of flavor. Everything we ordered (Salmon Sashimi, Caesar Salad, Hake, Skate, and Cheesecake) were all delicious. Our drinks were delightful as well and the craft cocktails were fantastic. We come to this area once a year and will definitely be back to Stalk next year!

We had a great time at Stalk for our anniversary dinner! The ambience is beautiful and romantic. The service was top tier and seamless, Sarah was very helpful guiding me through the menu for gluten free options. Great cocktails. The food is absolutely exquisite! Each dish exceeded our expectations right down to dessert. The owner chef Nicole is a true artist when it comes to crafting a delicious meal! We will definitely be back!

Such a gem in the city of Dover! The food was all delicious and the drinks were great too! They have happy hours even on Saturday which was a pleasant surprise during our visit. Their menu rotates so my fiance and I will be visiting again! (Hoping they have lamb as their entree sometime because the appetizer lamb lollipops we had was the highlight of the show!)

Amazing atmosphere! The dishes were so unique! Great options if you’re a vegetarian! They have a cabbage dish that still leaves my mouth watering! The wait staff is so kind, I had not seen my friend in sometime and they did not rush us out. Definitely give a try.

This is one special spot! The chef has a talent beyond anything that I’ve ever tasted! The creativity and uniqueness of the menu is second to none. The weight staff is personable, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They are not at all overbearing and are very reliable. The decor reminds me of an antique shop. The ladder with the jars, the lights from the ceiling and the cast-iron rods at the bar. Let’s not forget the stained glass windows.!! Thank you for a delicious meal and look forward to our next return!

One of the nicer dining experiences located in Dover with amazing food options and great service! Food came out quick and was super flavorful. Was disappointed to be seated near the window as we didn’t get to fully experience the atmosphere of the restaurant but that just means we will have to go back :) My boyfriend would also like to mention that he was really excited about the olives that were on his short ribs.
